Statement of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus on the Terrorist Acts in the Middle East
The recent days were marked by the new outbreak of violence in the Middle East.
On May 17, 18 and 19 a number of terrorist acts was carried out against the civil population of the State of Israel.
The Republic of Belarus resolutely condemns the acts of terror that represent an attempt to disrupt the commencement of dialogue between the State of Israel and Palestinian National Authority, and expresses its sincere condolences to the relatives and families of the victims.
Belarus is confident that only steps of Israeli and Palestinian sides towards each other, aimed at the renewal of negotiation process in compliance with the Roadmap Plan, which was developed by the four international intermediaries, can break the circle of violence and lead to establish peace in the region.
