Commentary by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus on the situation in Ecuador
Belarus is in favour of the principles of strict observance of law and order. We believe that their violation always leads to disastrous consequences, destruction and tragedy. This is our country's consistent stance.
In this regard, we express our firm support to the Government of the Republic of Ecuador in restoring constitutional order in its country and support the legal efforts of the authorities to overcome the current critical situation as soon as possible and to restore peace and tranquillity both on the streets of Ecuador and in Ecuadorian society as a whole.
