Belarus MFA Estimates Prospects of Visit of PACE Delegation to Belarus (press release by MFA press service)
Interfax question:
What does the official Minsk expect from the visit of PACE delegation to Belarus scheduled June 10-12, 2002.
Answer by Belarus MFA press secretary Pavel Latushka at the briefing on June 6, 2002:
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus welcomes the forthcoming visit of the PACE delegation to Minsk which scheduled June 10-12, 2002 for organising common seminar with the National Assembly of Belarus.
We expect the visit will help to expand cooperation between the National Assembly of Belarus and PACE and to restore its "specially invited" status with PACE. We consider that the visits like this promote realization of the marked tasks.
